Leeds is a major UK city and regional capital with a city population of 757,700, and a Metro population of 2,302,000 (2001 est). Currently, the tallest building in Leeds is Bridgewater Place at 112m (370ft).〔http://www.skyscrapernews.com/bdbsearch.php?city=Leeds〕 which has held the record since topping out in 2007. The oldest building on the list is Leeds Town Hall, constructed in 1858, which stands at a height of 69m (225ft). The newest is Central Village Tower, completed in 2014, which stands at an height of 70m (230ft).
